Red Bordeaux
Haut-Médoc AOC

Château de Cach
Bordeaux, France

Bordeaux wines need no introduction in terms of heritage, tradition, and reputation as one of the finest and most prestigious wine regions in the world.

The Haut-Médoc area is the higher, better-quality land in the central and southern Médoc. These wines tend to be blends of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and are sometimes called Claret. Haut-Médoc wines are known for their structure, complexity, and aging potential.

At the age of just 23, Henri Musso took over the abandoned Château de Cach in 1979. Between 1979 and 1985 he replanted all the vineyards, and through his hard work he has created distinguished and subtle wines vintage after vintage. The property relies on the exceptional talents of consultant oenologist Cédric Moreau to ensure delivery of consistent quality.

The vineyard consists of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot, with grapes being harvested and fermented in small parcels to guarantee the best blends from their prime Médoc terroir.

Sommelier Tasting Notes

A beautiful ruby hue with classic claret aromas of dark and red fruit. Cassis, blackberry, and red plum with fresh spice notes, integrated tannins and good balance, round off this exceptional wine.
